My areas of practice focus are, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, grief and loss, conflict resolution, and behavioural concerns. I utilize a variety of approaches in my practice, including behavioural theory, emotional focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
When providing counselling services, my treatment approach begins by developing a roadmap with the client to navigate their counselling journey while honouring and understanding their boundaries, along with my own boundaries. I apply my knowledge of various counselling theoretical approaches and experiences to each session and believe in building upon my clients’ strengths, building self- esteem, and empowering and enabling them to make positive changes in their lives.
I feel greatly humbled by working with the community in various capacities and believe it is a privilege to provide client care to families and individuals.
